รัก is a weighty word in Thai — but คิดถึง (I miss you) flows freely, in texts, calls, and long-distance friendships.

4. 13 ผมรักคุณมากที่สุดครับ phǒm rak khun mak thi sut khrap — I love you the most

   Male speaker — ผม plus ครับ (khráp). A woman says ฉัน...ค่ะ (khâ).
